Postcards – Greater Poland

The collection of Greater Poland postcards, made available by the University Library in Poznań, includes postcards dating from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries up to 1939. They serve as primary documentary material for historians, art historians, regional researchers, and conservators-restorers. The presentation of Greater Poland postcards starts with an extensive collection issued in Czempin by Leonard Durczykiewicz (1876–1934), author of the album „Polish Manor Houses in the Grand Duchy of Poznań“ (published in 1912), as well as a set of postcards depicting Mosina and its surroundings (the area of today’s Wielkopolski National Park).
